If you log into your Collaboratory through your campus server (SSO) using your institutional credentials, your username and password are not stored in Collaboratory and must be reset or changed via your institution's password reset process. Contact your Collaboratory Administrator for more information.

Reset Your Password

If you signed up using the Collaboratory registration process, then you can use Collaboratory's Password Reset tool to reset or change your password or email.

Step 1: Navigate to "Forgot Password"

  1. Select Log In from the top right corner of the header.

  2. Select "Forgot password?"

  3. Enter the email address associated with your Collaboratory account and select Send.

Step 2: Check Your Email

  1. An email will be sent to the given email address with a link to reset your password.

  2. Select the link to Reset your Password.

  3. Submit the form to reset your password.


Change your Password or Email

Step 1: Navigate to My Account

  1. Select the image from the top right corner of the header.

  2. Select My Account.

Step 2: Change Password or Email

  1. Select "Edit Account Information"

  2. Under Password/Email, select Change.

    1. For a new password, enter your current password to verify your identity, then enter in and confirm your preferred new password.

    2. For a new email, a verification email will be sent to the address you entered. Select the link to verify the email address you added. Until you verify the email, it will appear as an unverified address.

  3. Select Save Password/Save Email.
