When an activity is created, it progresses through various stages on its way to publication in Collaboratory. The activity view roll bar offers members and administrators a quick and easy way to check the status of activities by illustrating the workflow states of activity creation and publication.
As the activity progresses through the workflow states, the role bar will update to reflect the activity's changing status and actions members may take.
NOTE: The activity role bar is located at the top of the activity view and indicates at what stage the activity is in the publication process.
Within each activity, members have a specific connection to the activity that determines the messaging they see and the actions they are allowed to take. The connection an individual has to an activity is identified within the roll bar. These connections include:
Collaboratory administrator
Activity lead (e.g., activity owner)
Faculty/staff partner
