Each Core Administrator is encouraged to recruit up to three additional Co-Administrators to assist in the ongoing management of your institution's Collaboratory portal.
The Core Administrator must grant Administrator rights to these individuals.
- First, you must invite Co-Administrators to Register with your institution's Collaboratory portal.
- Once they have registered, update their role by selecting Administration from the community manager.
- Select Members from the left-hand sidebar.
- Select the Info icon for the individual you wish to promote to Administrator. In the popover, identify their new Role in the first dropdown menu.
You may return at any time to promote or demote members to Administrator.
Capitalize on the knowledge of engagement and service activities that might exist within key individuals across your institution by identifying them as Data Liaisons.
These individuals in key units can proxy or oversee data entry for those units, advocate for Collaboratory, identify key Activities and Courses for inclusion, and integrate Collaboratory into unit-level processes and initiatives.
Consider inviting these individuals to serve as unit-level "advisors" for Collaboratory, and communicate with them regularly to keep them up-to-date on upcoming deadlines or initiatives that they can share with their networks.
