If you log into your Collaboratory through your campus server (SSO) using your institutional credentials, your username and password are not stored in Collaboratory and must be reset or changed via your institution's password reset process. Contact your Collaboratory Administrator for more information.

If you signed up using the Collaboratory registration process, then you can use Collaboratory's Password Reset tool to reset or change your password or email.

Reset Your Password

Step 1: Navigate to Forgot Password

  1. Select Log In from the top right corner of the header.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Enter the email address associated with your Collaboratory account and select Send. 

Step 2: Check Email

  1. An email will be sent to the given email address with a link to reset your password.
  2. Select the link to Reset your Password.
  3. Submit the form to reset your password.

If you signed up using the Collaboratory registration process, then your password is managed in My Account.

Change Your Password

Step 1: Navigate to My Account

  1. Select the image from the top right corner of the header.
  2. Select My Account.

Step 2: Change Password

  1. Select Edit Account Information.
  2. Under Password, select Change.
  3. Enter your current password to verify your identity, then enter in and confirm your preferred new password.
  4. Select Save Password.

Change Your Email

Step 1: Navigate to My Account

  1. Select the image from the top right corner of the header.
  2. Select My Account.

Step 2: Change your Email

  1. Select Edit Account Information.
  2. Under email, select Change.
  3. Enter the additional address you wish to add to your Collaboratory account and select Add.

Step 3: Verify your Email

  1. A verification email will be sent to the address you entered.
  2. Select the link to verify the email address you added.
  3. Until you verify the email, it will appear as an unverified address.

Once you verify the email address you added, you may make that email your primary email address, and you may use it to log-in to Collaboratory. You may only log in with the email that is identified as the primary within your Account settings.
