Collaboratory does not collect any sensitive information from students, and student information is never made publicly available.

When a student is serving as a Proxy, their name will be identified with any content they create so that the Faculty/Staff Member of record knows who created the content -- until the Faculty or Staff take ownership of content. While student Members will have access to Member Home, they do not have a publicly viewable and searchable Institutional Profile.

When reporting on an Activity students may inadvertently report sensitive information about their work with underrepresented communities. To prevent this from being made public, Faculty and Staff Members review all student submissions in Collaboratory and approve or deny them.
